Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualifications

For PGTs (All Subjects):

  • Master’s Degree in concerned subject with minimum 50% marks + B.Ed. from NCTE recognized institution, OR
  • Integrated Post Graduate Course with B.Ed. component (50% marks), OR
  • Three years integrated B.Ed.-M.Ed., OR
  • Four years integrated degree.

Special for PGT Computer Science:

  • M.Sc. (CS/IT) / MCA / M.E. / M.Tech (CS/IT) with 50% marks + B.Ed.

For TGTs:

  • Four years integrated degree OR Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks in concerned subject + B.Ed., OR Post Graduation with 55% + B.Ed.
  • Qualified in CTET Paper-II.
  • Competence to teach in English & Hindi medium.
