Educational Qualification
- B.Sc. (Agriculture) under four-year degree programme from a College/University recognized by State/Central Government/ICAR.
- M.Sc. (Agriculture) 2nd Class from a recognized College/University/ICAR.
Desirable Qualification
- M.Sc. (Agriculture) First Class or above.
- Knowledge of customs, manners and dialects of Himachal Pradesh and suitability for appointment under conditions prevailing in the state.
