Selection Process
The direct recruitment will be done through a three-stage process:
- Stage 1: Screening Test (qualifying in nature)
- Online MCQ (150 questions, 3 hours duration) on Reasoning, Basic Mathematics, English, Aptitude, Attitude and Leadership Quality.
- Medium: English only.
- Qualifying marks: Minimum 60% (relaxable to 50% for OBC and 40% for SC/ST/PwBD if sufficient candidates not available).
- Shortlisting ratio: Restricted to 1:6 (six candidates per post) in order of merit in each category.
- Stage 2: Evaluation of Academic Records
- Applications qualifying the Screening Test will be evaluated by a Screening Evaluation Committee.
- Marks awarded as per detailed norms given in Annexure-I (Scientist-C) and Annexure-II (Scientist-D) (total 120 marks).
- Shortlisting ratio for Interview: 1:3 (three candidates per post) in order of merit.
- Stage 3: Personal Interaction / Interview
- 30 marks.
- Conducted at Delhi or any other location/mode approved by competent authority.
- Final Merit List: Marks of Evaluation (120) + Interview (30) = 150 marks.
Document Verification: Original documents will be verified prior to the interview. Candidates failing to produce all required original documents will be debarred.
Note: Screening Test is qualifying only. Final selection is based on combined marks of Evaluation + Interview. Normalization of marks will be applied if the test is conducted in multiple batches.

General Instructions
- The number of posts is tentative and may increase or decrease.
