MECON Limited FTFT Recruitment 2026 – Pay & Other Benefits
In addition to the consolidated monthly pay mentioned against each post, MECON offers a comprehensive benefits package to all contractual employees. Employees deployed at site/project locations receive a Site Allowance of 7.5% of pay, while those at Metro locations receive a Metro Allowance of 2.5% of pay. An annual increment on consolidated pay (rounded to the next ten rupees) is provided subject to company rules. Medical facilities including OPD and IPD treatment are available at Ispat Hospital, Ranchi, for employees posted at Ranchi (covering self, spouse, and 2 dependent children). For other locations, a company-retained doctor provides free consultation. Additionally, reimbursement of up to ₹15,000 per year towards Mediclaim premium (₹4,00,000 on floater basis) is available as per company policy.
Company accommodation (family or bachelor) may be provided based on availability at applicable charges; if not availed, HRA at 5% of consolidated pay is payable. Leave entitlements include Casual Leave (12 days/year), Earned Leave (18 days/year, accumulation up to 45 days), Half Pay Leave (14 days/year with commutation on medical certificate), and Maternity Leave as applicable to regular employees. National, Festival, and Restricted Holidays (4 nos.) are as per regular employee norms. All employees are covered under a Group Personal Accident Policy with a Sum Insured of ₹25 Lakhs.

MECON Limited FTFT Recruitment 2026 – Definition of Work Experience
Work experience will be counted only if it is in a full-time job on a regular salary basis and in the relevant area as stipulated against the respective post. Intermittent or freelance experience will not be counted. Entrepreneurial experience is also not eligible. For Management Trainees, Executive Trainees, and Graduate Trainees, only the on-the-job training period served in PSUs will be counted towards experience. Articleship, internship, academic projects, teaching, and research experience will not be considered as post-qualification experience. However, the period of apprenticeship under the Apprenticeship Act will be counted towards the required post-qualification experience. All experience claimed must be substantiated with documentary evidence as specified; self-declarations regarding the nature of work or relevance of experience will not be accepted.
MECON Limited FTFT Recruitment 2026 – Documentary Evidence for Work Experience
Candidates must provide valid work experience certificates for all past employments mentioned in the application form. These certificates must clearly mention the date of joining, date of relieving, nature of duties, and specific areas of experience with relevance to the applied post. In the absence of a certificate from any past employer, the experience from that employer will not be counted, and the candidature may be rejected if minimum experience is not met. For current employment, candidates must submit an Experience Certificate or Offer/Appointment Letter along with Pay Slips for the last 3 months from the date of the advertisement. Identity Card proving continuity of employment may also be submitted. Non-submission of these documents may result in rejection. Aadhaar Card is mandatory and must be uploaded – any mismatch between the Aadhaar number entered online and the uploaded document will lead to summary rejection.

MECON Limited FTFT Recruitment 2026 – Age Limit & Relaxation
The upper age limit for each post is 50 years for General (UR) and EWS category candidates, as calculated on the cut-off date of 23.03.2026. Age relaxation is provided as per Government of India guidelines. OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates get a relaxation of 3 years, SC/ST candidates get 5 years, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) get relaxation of 10 years (General), 13 years (OBC-NCL), or 15 years (SC/ST).
