PGIMER Recruitment 2026 – Reservation Criteria
SC/ST/OBC: Caste certificate issued by competent authority must be uploaded. OBC candidates must submit a Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate issued between 01.04.2026 and 11.05.2026 (i.e., valid for financial year 2026-27) in the DoPT prescribed format. An additional declaration in Annexure-II must be submitted at document verification confirming non-creamy layer status.
EWS: Gross annual family income must be below ₹8 lakh for the financial year 2025-26. The family must not possess 5 acres or more of agricultural land, a residential flat of 1000 sq. ft. or more, or a residential plot of 100 sq. yards or more in notified municipalities. Income & Asset Certificate (Annexure-III format) must be issued between 01.04.2026 and 11.05.2026 by a competent authority (District Magistrate, Tehsildar, SDO, etc.). SC/ST/OBC candidates are not eligible for EWS reservation.
PwBD: Minimum 40% benchmark disability is required for fee exemption and age relaxation. Disability certificate from a government-authorized authority is mandatory. Scribe/Reader facility is available for eligible PwBD candidates (blindness, both-arm locomotor disability, cerebral palsy), subject to advance intimation via the online application.
