Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the closing date of submission of online application (16-06-2026). Eligibility is as per UGC Regulations Notification No. F.1-2/2017(EC/PS), dated 18th July 2018 and as amended from time to time. Sambalpur University Faculty Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process
The selection process for Sambalpur University Faculty Recruitment 2026 consists of screening/scrutiny in 3 (three) stages followed by an Interview. The list of eligible and ineligible candidates will be displayed on the University website. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. The screening/scrutiny and subsequent selection will be as per UGC Notification 18th July, 2018 and supported by the Act & Statute of the University (Table 3A of Appendix II for Assistant Professor and Table 2 of Appendix II for Associate Professor and Professor). The selection committee composition will be as per Odisha University Act 1989 as amended from time to time.
Candidates will be judged holistically covering cognitive domain (knowledge in subject’s domain), psychomotor domain (experience and skill), and affective domain (response to questions, confidence etc.).
