UPSSSC Sugarcane Supervisor Recruitment 2026 – Vacancy Details

A total of 1182 vacancies have been announced for Ganna Paryavekshak – 1000 posts under General Selection and 182 posts under Special Selection. Vacancies are distributed across Unreserved (UR), Scheduled Caste (SC), Other Backward Class (OBC), and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories as per the UP Government’s reservation norms. Horizontal reservations are applicable for Women, Ex-Servicemen, Dependants of Freedom Fighters, Persons with Disabilities (PH/Divyangjan), and Outstanding Sportspersons within each category.

UPSSSC Sugarcane Supervisor Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria

Only those candidates who appeared in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET-2025) and received a valid score card issued by UPSSSC are eligible to apply for this Main Examination. Candidates must possess the required educational qualifications and other eligibility conditions on or before the last date of application (28-07-2026). Shortlisting for the Main Examination will be based on PET-2025 normalized scores – 15 times the number of vacancies (category-wise) up to the cutoff marks will be shortlisted. Candidates with zero/negative absolute or normalized PET-2025 scores will not be shortlisted.

UPSSSC Sugarcane Supervisor Recruitment 2026 – Age Limit

Candidates must be at least 21 years and must not have exceeded 40 years of age as on 1st July of the calendar year in which the Commission advertises the vacancies. Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, PWD (Divyangjan), Ex-Servicemen, Freedom Fighter Dependants, State Government employees, and Chief Minister’s Fellowship candidates as per UP Government rules. SC/ST/OBC candidates from UP will get age relaxation as per prevailing UP Government orders.

UPSSSC Sugarcane Supervisor Recruitment 2026 – Application Fee

Candidates applying for the post of Ganna Paryavekshak are required to pay an online processing fee as specified below. Fee payment is accepted via Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or SBI e-Challan only. No other mode of fee payment is permitted. After successful fee payment/reconciliation, the application form will be automatically submitted and a printout of the application must be taken by the candidate. Fee once paid will not be refunded. The last date for fee reconciliation is 04-08-2026. Examination fee for the Main Examination will be charged separately from shortlisted candidates only, before downloading the admit card.

Note: Dependants of Freedom Fighters, Ex-Servicemen, Women, Divyangjan, and Outstanding Sportspersons pay fee as per their parent/base category (Sl. No. 1 to 4).

UPSSSC Sugarcane Supervisor Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process

The selection process for UPSSSC Ganna Paryavekshak Recruitment 2026 consists of a single Written (Main) Examination of 100 marks. There is no interview. Shortlisting for the Written Examination is done on the basis of PET-2025 normalized scores – 15 times the number of category-wise vacancies (up to the cutoff marks, rounded to 2 decimal places) will be shortlisted. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the Written Examination. If the exam is held over multiple days/sessions, normalization will be done as per UPSSSC norms published in Mandatory Notice No. 42/05/Vigya0 Anu0 (Gyarah)/2019 dated 22 May 2019.

UPSSSC Sugarcane Supervisor Recruitment 2026 – Exam Syllabus

The Written Examination consists of one question paper with 100 MCQ questions of 1 mark each, divided into 3 parts. All questions are answered in Hindi/English (OMR-based). Negative marking of 1/4 mark applies for each wrong answer. The detailed syllabus as given in the official notification is reproduced below.

How to Apply for UPSSSC Sugarcane Supervisor Recruitment 2026

Applications must be submitted online only through the UPSSSC Online Application System at the official website https://upsssc.gov.in. Hard copy/offline applications will not be accepted under any circumstances. Candidates must login using their PET-2025 Registration Number via OTP sent to their registered mobile/email. All personal information filled during PET-2025 (name, father’s name, category, EWS, reservation details, DOB, gender, marital status, contact number, email etc.) will be pre-filled and auto-displayed – these cannot be modified. Candidates must fill in educational qualification details in Section-II of the application. After filling all sections and entering the Verification Code, clicking “Submit” will display the Application Form with an 11-digit registration number – candidates must take a printout and keep it safely. The application form correction window will be open up to 04-08-2026.

• Divyangata (PH/PWD) certificate in prescribed format as per UP Govt. norms (updated format with disability type, sub-category and percentage clearly mentioned)
• Freedom Fighter Dependant certificate
• Ex-Serviceman certificate (as per prescribed format; candidate should be retired by 28-07-2026)
• Outstanding Sportsperson certificate issued by competent authority in prescribed format
• NOC from employer (for Government/Semi-Government employees)

Important Instructions for UPSSSC Sugarcane Supervisor Recruitment 2026 Candidates

• Only candidates who appeared in PET-2025 and hold a valid UPSSSC score card are eligible to apply – others need not apply.
• Only online applications through the official UPSSSC portal will be accepted; hard copy applications will be rejected.
• All reserved category candidates of UP must mention their category in the application form; only the most beneficial single relaxation will be granted if multiple categories are claimed.
• Candidates not domiciled in UP will not be entitled to reservation benefits and will be treated as Unreserved (General).
• The date of birth as recorded in the High School (Madhyamik) certificate is the only accepted proof; no other document will be accepted.
• EWS candidates must hold a certificate based on financial year 2025-26 income, valid for FY 2026-27, issued between 01-04-2026 and 28-07-2026; the certificate must be in the prescribed format as per UP Govt. Office Letter No. 0-3/2019/4/1/2002/ka-2/19 T.C.-II dated 14-03-2019.
• Divyangjan (PH) candidates must ensure their disability certificate is in the updated prescribed format clearly mentioning the disability category/sub-category and percentage, issued by the competent authority as per UP Govt. Office Letter No. 5/2022/18/1/2008/47/ka-2/2022 dated 18-04-2022.
• For female candidates of UP, only caste certificate issued from the father’s side will be accepted.
• Ex-Servicemen claiming reservation must verify that they possess a certificate as per the prescribed format of the UP Government (GR dated 21 April 2015).
• Government/Semi-Government employees must obtain an NOC from their employer before participating in the selection process; they must produce it when demanded by the Commission.
• Married male candidates with more than one living wife, or female candidates who have married a man with an existing living wife, are not eligible – unless exempted by the Governor.
• If a candidate submits more than one application, only the application with the latest Application Number will be considered; fee paid against other applications will not be adjusted.
• Mobile phones and electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited inside examination premises.
• Negative marking of 1/4 mark applies for each wrong answer in the Written Examination.
