Asst. Research Officer (Pharmacology): M.Sc. in Pharmacology or M.V.Sc from a recognized university. Age: up to 30 years.

Asst. Research Officer (Pharmacognosy/Botany): Master’s Degree in the concerned discipline plus 3 years’ research/teaching experience OR a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline. Age: up to 35 years.

Staff Nurse: B.Sc. (Hons) Nursing / Regular B.Sc. Nursing / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing OR Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery from a recognized institution, registered as Nurse/Nurse & Midwife with State Nursing Council, plus 1 year’s experience in a minimum 50-bed hospital. Age: up to 35 years.

Accounts Officer (HQ): Degree from a recognized university plus 3 years’ experience in Cash, Accounts, and Budget work in a Government Office / PSU / Autonomous Body. Age: up to 30 years (5-year relaxation for CCRUM employees).

MLT: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science with 2 years’ relevant experience. Age: up to 35 years.

Library & Information Assistant: Degree from a recognized university plus Degree in Library Science. Age: up to 28 years.

Group C – Key Posts

UDC: Degree from a recognized university. Age: between 18 and 27 years.

LDC: 12th class pass with typing speed of 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi on computer. Age: between 18 and 27 years.

Stenographer Grade-III: Matric/equivalent plus shorthand speed of 80 wpm and typewriting speed of 40 wpm. Age: up to 28 years.

Staff Car Driver: Matriculation pass, valid driving license for Motor Cars/LMV, 3 years’ motor car driving experience, knowledge of vehicle maintenance. Age: between 18 and 25 years.

MTS: Matriculation/equivalent pass OR ITI pass in relevant subject. Age: between 18 and 25 years.

Compounder: Matric or equivalent plus Certificate of Training as Compounder in Unani System of Medicine (minimum 1 year), plus 2 years’ experience preferably in a Unani Dispensary/Hospital. Age: 28 years and below.

Pharmacist: 10+2 with Science plus 2-year Diploma in Pharmacy plus registration with State/Central Pharmacy Council. Age: between 18 and 25 years.

Age Relaxation Summary

The CCRUM 2026 application fee structure is divided into a non-refundable Processing Fee (applicable to all candidates) and an Examination Fee (waived for exempted categories). • Online CBT – 70 marks (subject knowledge + research methodology + general awareness)
• Interview – 30 marks
• Shortlisting ratio: 1:5 for 1 vacancy, 1:4 for 2 vacancies, 1:3 for 3 or more vacancies
• Minimum qualifying marks: 25% for SC/ST/PwBD; 30% for all others

Group B & C Posts:

• Online CBT – 100 marks

Negative Marking: There is a 0.25 mark deduction per wrong answer in the CBT for all posts except MTS, where there is no negative marking.

Exam Duration: 100 minutes for all candidates (Group A, B & C). PwBD candidates eligible for a scribe receive 130 minutes (100 + 30 compensatory minutes).

Tie-Breaking Rules: In case of equal marks, tie-breaking follows this order: older age ranked higher → higher subject marks → higher marks in second part of syllabus → earlier degree/diploma completion → higher final aggregate percentage.

Exam Syllabus at a Glance

The CCRUM CBT syllabus is post-specific. Every paper follows a common structure: subject knowledge (70 marks) + research methodology/relevant technical knowledge (20 marks) + general awareness/IT & computing (10 marks) for Group B and C posts. Group A post papers total 70 marks (subject: 40 + research methodology: 20 + general awareness/IT: 10), followed by an interview of 30 marks. Salary / Pay Scale

The CCRUM Recruitment 2026 offers 7th CPC pay structure with NPA (Non-Practising Allowance) for Group A medical posts as per Government of India rules. Selected candidates are placed on probation for two years, extendable at the discretion of the competent authority, and will be governed by the New Pension Scheme (NPS). All posts carry All India transfer liability; candidates must be willing to serve at any of CCRUM’s 24 Institutes/Centers across India.

• Entering wrong details at account creation: Name, date of birth, and gender entered at Step I cannot be changed under any circumstances. Cross-check with your Matriculation Certificate before submitting.
• Not checking the OBC certificate date: Your OBC (NCL) certificate must have been obtained within 3 years before the closing date of application. An outdated certificate will result in disqualification.
