RRC NCR Apprentice Recruitment 2026 Notification Out –

RRC NCR Act Apprentice Recruitment 2026 is a training opportunity released by the Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), North Central Railway for engagement of 1,853 Act Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Eligible candidates can apply online from 08 July 2026 to 07 August 2026. The recruitment is meant to provide apprenticeship training in various designated trades across different NCR divisions.

A total of 1,853 Apprentice vacancies have been announced by the Railway Recruitment Cell, North Central Railway. These apprenticeship slots are available at the NCR Headquarters, Prayagraj, Agra Division, Jhansi Division, and Jhansi Workshop. Candidates must have passed 10th/Matriculation (SSC) with at least 50% aggregate marks from a recognized board. Both qualifications are mandatory to be eligible.

The minimum age required is 15 years, while the maximum age is 24 years as on 07 July 2026. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories, including SC/ST, OBC, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen, as per Government of India rules. Candidates should verify their eligibility before applying.

The application fee for General, OBC, and EWS candidates is ₹100, which is non-refundable. However, SC, ST, PwBD, and all Female candidates are exempted from paying the application fee. Payment must be completed online through the official application portal.

The selection process is based entirely on a merit list prepared using the marks obtained in the 10th examination and the relevant ITI trade. Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification followed by a Medical Examination. There is no written examination or interview.
