Maharashtra State Electricity Transmission Company Limited (MSETCL), also known as Mahapareshan, has released a public notice inviting online applications from ITI Electrician trade-qualified candidates for engagement as Apprentice (Electrician) under the Executive Engineer’s Office, Auda Sanvasu Vibhag, Nagpur. The recruitment is for the year 2026-27 and the apprenticeship period is one year.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online through the official apprenticeship portal, www.apprenticeshipindia.gov.in, against the establishment registration number mentioned in the notice, from 20.07.2026 to 27.07.2026 (11:59 PM).

MSETCL Electrician Apprentice Vacancy Details

The 43 Electrician apprentice posts are spread across sub-divisions and sub-stations under Auda Sanvasu Vibhag, Nagpur.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Passed Maharashtra State Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination
• Passed the Electrician trade examination from an ITI recognized by the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), New Delhi

Age Limit

As on 01.07.2026, the candidate should be not less than 18 years and not more than 38 years of age. A relaxation of 5 years is applicable for candidates belonging to backward category.

Documents Required

Candidates must scan and upload the following documents on their profile at the time of online application:

• SSC and ITI Electrician (four semesters) mark sheets
• School leaving certificate
• Aadhar card
• Caste certificate (for candidates belonging to backward category)
• Maharashtra State domicile certificate
• Non-creamy layer certificate (for candidates other than SC/ST, if applicable)
• Economically Weaker Section (EWS) certificate, if applicable
• Socially and Educationally Backward Class (SEBC) certificate, if applicable
• Any other necessary supporting documents

Important: The name on the SSC and ITI Electrician mark sheets must match the name on the Aadhar card; otherwise the application will not be accepted.

Stipend

The stipend will be paid as per the prevailing rules applicable to apprentices. The exact stipend amount is not specified in the notification.

Selection Process

Selection of apprentice candidates will be done through a merit list prepared on the basis of the average percentage of total marks obtained by combining SSC and ITI examination results, and as per the prevailing social reservation policy.

5. Scan and upload all required original certificates as listed above.
6. Submit the online application between 20.07.2026 and 27.07.2026 (11:59 PM).
7. Fill the attached Form A (Prapatra A) completely and take a printout along with a copy of the submitted online application.
8. Attach self-attested photocopies of all required certificates and documents mentioned above.

Important Instructions

• Applications submitted after the online application period will not be considered.
• Incomplete applications, or applications with incorrect or defective documents, will not be accepted or considered.
