RDWU Faculty Recruitment 2026 – Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as per UGC eligibility criteria (UGC Notification 18th July 2018 and subsequent amendments). Eligibility will be considered as on the closing date of submission of online application. The period spent by candidates to acquire M.Phil. and/or Ph.D. degree shall not be considered as research experience. Candidates above 60 years will not be eligible to apply.

RDWU Faculty Recruitment 2026 – Application Fee
The application fee is non-refundable and must be paid online as per the bank details given in the online portal. Applications without applicable fee will be summarily rejected. Candidates applying for more than one post must apply separately and pay the fee for each post separately.
RDWU Faculty Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process
Selection will be as per UGC Notification 18th July 2018, supported by the ACT and Statute of the University. Applications received by due date will be screened/scrutinized. The list of eligible and ineligible candidates will be displayed on the website. For a single post, a maximum of 15 candidates will be called for interview; for multiple posts, candidates will be called in the ratio of 1:10 as per scores during scrutiny. Candidates called for interview must come prepared with a PPT covering brief biodata, subject domain strength, practical skill, student empower strategy, use of AI in pedagogy, funded research projects, consultancy research, and potential for national/international collaborations.
How to Apply for RDWU Faculty Recruitment 2026
Applications must be submitted online through the HIMS Portal (https://hims.odisha.gov.in/) which will be available from 07.05.2026 onwards. Candidates must complete the application in all respects and upload all necessary supporting documents on or before 10.06.2026. The online application can be filled in multiple sessions. No other format of application or CV should be sent by email or any other means. In addition, a hard copy of the downloaded submitted application along with all relevant documents must be sent only via Speed Post to reach the University on or before 20.06.2026. Courier/ordinary post/hand delivery will not be accepted.
Persons employed in Government/Public Sector Enterprise/Autonomous bodies should forward a copy of their application through proper channel or furnish a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the competent authority or employer. In-service candidates should submit the NOC at the time of interview.

Important Instructions for RDWU Faculty Recruitment 2026 Candidates
- Applications must be submitted online via the HIMS Portal only; no other format or CV by email or other means will be accepted.
- Hard copy of the downloaded application must reach the University via Speed Post on or before 20.06.2026; courier/ordinary post/hand delivery will not be accepted.
- Only matriculation/SSC certificate/pass certificate issued by the concerned educational board will be accepted as proof of date of birth.
- Candidates above 60 years will not be eligible to apply.
- The period spent to acquire M.Phil. and/or Ph.D. degree shall not be considered as research experience.
