Application Fee

• General / OBC : ₹1000/- (For Single Paper)
• EWS : ₹1000/- (For Single Paper)
• SC / ST : ₹500/- (For Single Paper)
• For Both Papers: General/OBC/EWS: ₹1200/-, SC/ST/PwD: ₹600/-
• Pay the Exam Fee Through Online Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking Only.

Age Limit & Selection Process

• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years and Maximum No Limit (as on 01/01/2026)
• Selection Process: Written Examination (Paper I for Classes I-V, Paper II for Classes VI-VIII, or Both); Qualifying Marks: 60% for General, 55% for Reserved Categories; No Interview

CTET Paper Details- Total Papers – 2

• Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)
• OR Senior Secondary with 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year D.El.Ed as per NCTE 2002 norms
• OR Senior Secondary with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed)
• OR Senior Secondary with 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
• OR Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education
• Relaxation up to 5% in qualifying marks for SC/ST/Differently Abled
• No teaching experience required; Teacher training like B.Ed/D.El.Ed preferred for professional development

• Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed)
• OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed)
• OR Graduation with 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed as per NCTE norms

• CTET Qualified Teacher (Primary): Level 6 – ₹35400-112400/- (7th Pay Commission)
• CTET Qualified Teacher (Upper Primary): Level 7 – ₹44900-142400/- (7th Pay Commission)
