AIIMS Raipur Invites Applications for Senior Resident

Essential Qualification

Candidates must possess a Postgraduate Medical Degree in the respective discipline from a recognized University or Institute. Accepted qualifications include:

• MD (Doctor of Medicine)
• MS (Master of Surgery)
• DNB (Diplomate of National Board)
• Diploma in the respective discipline

For Dentistry Department: A Postgraduate Degree i.e. MDS (Master of Dental Surgery) in the concerned speciality is required.

Note: Candidates applying for clinical departments may also appear for interview for the Trauma & Emergency Department, subject to their willingness.

Age Limit and Relaxations

The upper age limit is 45 years as on the last date of receipt of application. The following age relaxations are applicable:

• SC/ST candidates: 5 years
• OBC candidates: 3 years
• PwBD (General Category): 10 years
• PwBD (OBC Category): 13 years
• PwBD (SC/ST Category): 15 years
• Ex-Servicemen: 5 years (in addition to above relaxations, subject to conditions)

Selection Process

Final selection will be made on the basis of Interview. In case a large number of applications are received, a Written Test / Screening Test (Computer-based or offline) may be conducted prior to the interview for shortlisting candidates. The list of shortlisted candidates, along with date and time of interview, will be published on the AIIMS Raipur website. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

Terms and Conditions of Appointment

• The appointment is for 11 months under the Govt. of India Residency Scheme.
• Either side may terminate the appointment by giving one month’s notice or one month’s salary in lieu.
• The appointee shall not engage in private practice of any kind during the contract period.
• No benefits such as Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, or Medical Attendance are admissible.
• Candidates already in Government service must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the present employer at the time of interview.
• If an appointee wishes to resign within the first 3 months of joining, no NOC, Relieving Letter, or Experience Certificate will be issued.

• No Objection Certificate (if applicable)
• Transaction details (for UR / OBC / EWS candidates)
