Vacancy Details – MAHATRANSCO EHV O&M Circle Panvel Apprentice 2026

MAHATRANSCO has notified a single category of apprenticeship post – Electrician (Vijantri) – under the Auda Sanvasu Mandal, Panvel Division. All 77 seats are for the 2026-27 training batch and the engagement is for one year on a contractual basis as per the Apprentices Act.

Note: The authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies. Any such decision will not be communicated to individual candidates.

Educational Qualification

• Passed Maharashtra State Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Examination – i.e., Class 10 / Matriculation from a Maharashtra State board
• Passed the ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Electrician trade examination – all four semesters – from an institution affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT), New Delhi

Note: Only NCVT-affiliated ITI certificates are accepted. State-board ITI or non-affiliated courses do not qualify.

Age Limit

As per the official notification, the age eligibility window for MSЕТCL Apprentice 2026 is clearly defined. Candidates outside this range will not be considered regardless of their qualifications.

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 38 years
• Age Relaxation: 05 years for candidates from reserved / backward class categories (as per prevailing Maharashtra government rules)

Age is calculated as on the last date of application, i.e., 10 July 2026.

MAHATRANSCO Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Stipend

Selected apprentices will be paid a stipend as per the prevailing norms applicable under the Apprentices Act. The notification states that the stipend will be governed by current government rules (Prachalit Niyamapramane). The exact monthly stipend amount will be communicated at the time of engagement / training commencement.
