RRB NTPC CBTST Result 2025-26 – Quick Overview
RRB Jammu-Srinagar has provisionally shortlisted 31 additional candidates for Category 4 and Category 5 posts for Document Verification and Medical Examination. The table below summarises the key facts from the official notice.
What Is the RRB NTPC CBTST Result 2025-26?
The CBTST (Computer Based Typing Skill Test) is a qualifying stage specifically for Category 4 and Category 5 NTPC Graduate posts, which require typing skills. RRB Jammu-Srinagar has now shortlisted additional candidates for all posts, including Category 4 and 5, based on their CBT-2 marks and their qualifying status in CBTST not on CBTST marks or merit ranking. Roll numbers in the official list are arranged in ascending order, not by merit.
Is this the same as the RRB NTPC Category 1, 2, 3 Final Result?
No. This CBTST-based shortlisting for Category 4 & 5 is a separate exercise from the Category 1, 2, and 3 result (based on CBT-2 and CBAT) that RRB zones released earlier, around May 2026. Candidates should not confuse the two results, as they cover different post categories and different qualifying stages.

RRB NTPC CBTST Important Dates
Note: The official RRB Jammu-Srinagar notice lists the score card activation date as a placeholder that has not been filled in yet. Candidates should keep checking the official login link for the live activation date rather than relying on any specific date until RRB confirms it.
RRB NTPC Category 4 & 5 Posts Covered
- Category 4: Senior Clerk cum Typist
- Category 5: Junior Account Assistant cum Typist
Both posts required candidates to qualify the CBTST after clearing CBT-2, since these roles involve computer-based typing duties.
RRB NTPC CBTST Shortlisting Basis
The shortlisting criteria differ by category, as clarified in the official notice:
- Category 2 cut-off = 70% of CBT-2 marks + 30% of CBAT marks.
- Category 1, 3, 4, and 5 cut-off = CBT-2 marks out of 100, combined with qualifying status in CBTST (not CBTST marks).
If a candidate’s medical standard is lower than required for the category against their name, RRB will check their eligibility for other categories chosen in their preference order before finalising the select list.
